Delete your Kin Agenda account
You can delete your account yourself, in the phone app or on the website. It is blocked straight away and deleted for good 30 days later. Until then, a link we email you can cancel it.
In the phone app
- Tap More, then Settings.
- Under Deleting your account, tap Delete my account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
If you sign in with Google, the app sends you to the website for this, because Google asks you to confirm it there.
On the website
- Sign in at kinagenda.com.
- Open Settings, at the bottom of the menu.
- Under Delete account, confirm with your password, or with Google if that is how you sign in.
Want a copy of your data first? In Settings, Your data lets you download it before you delete.
What happens then
- Your account can’t be signed into from that moment, and we email you a link to cancel.
- After 30 days the deletion is final. We erase your sign-ins and device tokens, your saved places, data exports and reports you made, the feedback you sent us, and the precise location of handovers you logged. Your name, email address and password are replaced, so the account no longer identifies you.
- Records you shared stay for the people you shared them with, under the name “Deleted user”: for example messages you sent a co-parent, and a child’s shared calendar, expenses and documents. When the last parent linked to a child deletes their account, everything about that child is erased with it.
- Our backups roll over, so a deleted record is gone from them within 16 days.
The full detail is in our Privacy Policy, section 11.
Can’t sign in?
Email info@kinagenda.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We reply within a few working days and confirm when it’s done.
Deleting some data, not the whole account
You can delete your own entries in the app as you go. To ask what we hold about you, or to have something specific removed, email info@kinagenda.com.
