Terms of Service

1. Who we are, and agreeing to these terms

Kin Agenda is operated by Akvilė Strumylaitė, an individual based in Lithuania, EU. By creating an account or using Kin Agenda, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. Questions? Write to info@kinagenda.com.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You’re responsible for anyone you invite into your Family, Co-Parenting space or Care Circle, and for making sure you have the right to record the information you add about other people, including children and the people you care for.

The one exception to the age rule is a child’s own login in Family. A parent or guardian in the family sets it up from the child’s profile, chooses what the child can see and do, and can sign the child out or remove the login at any time. The child does not create an account or agree to these terms themselves: the parent who sets the login up is responsible for it, and for the child’s use of it. A child’s login never reaches Co-Parenting or Care Circle.

3. Your account

Keep your password confidential and don’t share your login. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at info@kinagenda.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Early access, subscriptions and cancellation

Until 1 February 2027 (“early access”), every product is free for everyone and we don’t ask for a card. From that date, each product (Family, Care Circle, Family Circle and Co-Parenting) is offered on a paid subscription at the prices on our Pricing page. If your account was opened before that date, your first 3 months on a paid plan are at half price. We’ll email account owners at least two weeks before paid plans start. Nothing is charged unless you choose a plan, and if you don’t, you can still ask us for a full export of your data.

When paid subscriptions are active, they renew for the period you choose (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices may change, but never for a period you’ve already paid for, and we’ll give notice of any change before it applies to you. Where required by EU consumer law, your statutory rights (including any right of withdrawal) always apply.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Your content and data

What you add to Kin Agenda stays yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process and display it back to you and the people you’ve invited, so the service can work. You can request an export of your data, in standard formats, and ask us to delete it (see our Privacy Policy for details on storage, retention and your rights under GDPR).

7. Records, exports and legal matters

Kin Agenda helps you keep a clear, dated record of custody, expenses, messages and care. Some entries lock after a short time so they can’t be quietly changed, and messages can’t be edited or deleted through the app once sent. We provide clean, dated exports of what you’ve logged. However, Kin Agenda is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, and we make no guarantee that any export will be accepted by a particular court, mediator or authority; rules on evidence vary by jurisdiction. Please treat our tools as a well-kept record, not a substitute for professional legal advice.

8. Service availability

We work to keep Kin Agenda available and to back your data up regularly, but we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or occasionally take features down for maintenance. As a small, independently run service, we keep things transparent and will tell you about anything significant.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Kin Agenda is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data beyond what our backups can reasonably restore. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer in the EU.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Kin Agenda at any time, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts other people’s data or the service at risk; where we reasonably can, we’ll let you export your data first.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we’ll give reasonable notice (for example, by email or a notice in the app) before it takes effect. Continuing to use Kin Agenda after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania and applicable EU law. Any dispute will be subject to the courts competent for Lithuania, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
